After looking into The Grand Budapest Hotel I really loved the pink and red combination. I feel like the pink is soft and works well with a macaron, and the red is a strong and modern pop on the pink.
I have explored bringing in the royal or navy blue as a reference to the French aspect.
I think bringing in the stripe could be a good idea as it represents baking, French stripe, Rugby (a favourite hobby of Monsieur Macaron). I want to explore this idea further.
