The business I have selected to create an identity for Project 2 is Wild Bunch. Wild Bunch is a start up floristry business.
I have created a questionnaire to find out key information about the new business. Please see survey below:
From the survey I have collated the information to get a better understanding of the business.
I have created a buyer persona for the niche target audience. I thought it would be useful to really understand the customer, who will be buying the flowers and what are their needs. I thought it would be useful to imagine a particular character and design for their needs and values.
I have looked at a range of different florists in Hawkes Bay and also in New Zealand to get an idea of the kind of styles that are used for florist logos. There seems to be a real mix of styles used for this industry.
I feel like is the most successful logos from the ones I have researched is Pixie and The Botanist – they are both really clean, minimal and modern. But I am not sure if this will work for Wild Bunch as their selling point is the imperfections, rather than the refined look. Perhaps I can still try and keep it clean and modern looking?
After the questionnaire I thought it was best to create a moodboard to try and visually capture the asthetic essence of the brand.
