    Amber Daly…

    …is 18 years old, was born in Christchurch and is now living in Wakefield, close to Nelson. Her mother’s passion for art has inspired her to become the artist she aspires to be. She is not sure, about where her path will take her yet, which she hopes to get more clarity about, while studying at NMIT. Amber likes to meditate and to go for a run, something she never thought she would be able to do again, due to a spinal surgery which she had to recover from.     Essentials…

    Art supplies Throughout me creating this Blog, I will tell you about the essential Tools I use. I mainly work with graphite and charcoal on white paper, because it is very easy to set up-and I am not going to lie: I am too lazy to always prepare a canvas or my oil colours before I start, let alone cleaning it afterwards.     Mystic Falls…

    Photography, Outdoors The sound of waterfalls, rivers, rain or the ocean makes me feel calm and I could listen to it for ages. No matter how bad a day might be, going to the beach or for a little hike does wonders. Sitting down in nature can help you to clear your head, and does so much for your health as well. Since studying at NMIT I discovered Photography and especially Shutter Speed. Shutter Speed gives you this misty/foggy effect which looks magical. These pictures were taken on my hike to Mystic Falls, a place that I would everyone recommend to go to.
