For this part of the assesment I will be using Animation studios , Advance skeleton plugin as well as their free Tuna mesh availiable on their website.
The first thing I learnt from using this plugin was how to reference. The importance of referencing a model or rig is that it doesnt allow you to directly edit the model within the scene meaning you wont change the model by accident. The Advance Skeleton plugin is quite straight forward to use with a step by step process with handy guidelines.
This part was the most time cosuming part of the whole process, I made sure to keep the arm and leg straight in which I didnt want them to bend.
For the feet ends the finger tips and the top of the head I placed them right at the tip of the mesh to get cleaner deformation and control.
I basically skipped the edit section as to not make it to complicated, In that section you can change the parameters of the joints.
I made a mistake while making this Rig I used the optimise and publish options in Advance skeleton, In which it deletes unused joints and controls and I forgot to save before doing this, I will have to redo the Rig from start. I found something was wrong when I came to building the face controls as Advance skeleton couldnt find the rig.
This is good experence tho.
once the facetial rig was setup I noticed it had thrown of my head joint.
