Oil and Acrylic on canvas.
Being a newbie to oil painting, it was so much difficult to blend paint and it was also difficult to control the brushes. But Oil painting was fun and each time I did an oil painting I was learning a lot of information and was developing more self techniques to do the painting. It was also a difficult job to apply acrylic on oil paint and has to experiment with lot of techniques to get it right. ultimately I was happy with the final result I got after the hard work. oil paint and Acrylic behave total different. Oil paint take more time to dry, but acrylic paint dries so fast for us to apply more layers on top of a coat of paint. I was using less paint with oil paint and was applying the paint using more number of brush strokes so that the oil paint dries and provide enough freedom to apply more paint. acrylic dries fast in minutes and was waiting for me to apply more.
