Today I took the explosion effect from the last class and expanded on this idea. To do this I made a path and pointed the exploding object to follow the path. This cause the explosion to follow the path I created and create some interesting interactions with other objects and walls in the view finder.
This ‘follow path’ tool can be used by any of the elemental effects and so again, there’s tons of versatility that this tool has. I can imagine this would be pretty useful down the line when I start to use elements within my animation project.
