Through creating this brand story I am wanting to make people think more about the waste that is being produced when people take up the gardening hobby, when all the plastic being used could be easily avoided. This will create a connection with the customer and make them realise how much easier it would be to reduce the amount of plastic they are using and keep the customers returning as their aren’t a lot of garden centres around the country focusing on this issue.

Naturable is a 100% New Zealand made here in New Zealand. We believe that too much waste is produced by garden shops around the country and we believe that all of this waste that is being produced can be avoided if people were offered the choice of using sustainable plant products if they were at a more affordable price.
We have chosen the plants in our logo because they represent new life and new beginnings. We believe that this is what the earth needs for the following generation to thrive and help the earth rather than continuing to ruin it with plastic waste.
The type we have chosen to use represents the natural and homey feel that our business has. It will remind us, as we grow, where we began. Our business is certified in New Zealand as 100% organic and is suitable for anyone to use. We always chose the products we stock carefully and concisely as we only want to stock ethical products that are good for the environment and our customers.
Video Idea:
If I were to showcase this business through a short video it would be showing a lady in the garden using the compostable plant pots and would show her being able to put this plant pot into her compost bin and would zoom out to her sitting on her deck as the plant pot gradually deteriorates in the foreground. This would show how quickly the plant pots deteriorate rather than the plastic commonly being used. It would have a warm tone and the lady would be happy on the sunny day.
