Driven by purpose

Georgia Elliston

Culture, colour, humanity and creativity are what drives Georgia. Inspired by publications such as National Geographic and artists such as Humans of New York and Banksy, her goal is to create art that drives the viewer to feel, think and take action.

Georgia Elliston is an art student currently studying towards a Bachelor of Arts and Media at Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology. Having had a passion for creativity since a young age, the decision to study art was a natural progression, and Georgia is enjoying working towards her dreams one stroke of paint at a time.

As a 16-year-old, Georgia travelled with her family through Europe, visiting areas like Italy, France and England and was hooked on exploring places rich in culture, art and history. When she finishes her degree in two years’ time, she plans on hitting the road again to explore the remote areas of South America, capturing all aspects of their society in the photojournalism style.

Georgia is excited about the future, dedicated to her craft and taking action to follow her dreams.
