First Draft (sketch)

First sketch. I wanted to create some kind of rock golem that had NZ plants and rocks in its design. E.G having greenstone parts to the golem and vines/ ferns on its body.
Second sketch.
After finding the last image of pinterest that looks like a female rock golem/automaton it made me think about making my humanoid in more of a mother nature kind of creature, however to put some mystery into the character (and simply because i like the idea of it) there will be some kind of machinery/robotics underneath parts of the character to add a dash of sci-fi in to the model.

Then i found this image which will help me make a somewhat accurate form for my character by allowing me to copy and modify the image its self.

The new robot body without the rock armor
Here is the same body with the armor put on over the top to represent where the robots rocky/organic armor
Third attempt at making the model this time using the vertices and dragging them around to make the basic head shape
A rigged model i found for free that i played around with in different poses after i got the gun into a good position and wrapping the fingers around it.
The New model.. I decided to kit-bash the model by using the base from the website Mixamo a character animation site thing (all for free) since i am going to cover most/all of the the current character in rocks, ferns and other foliage to hide the basically all of the evidence that the character is a robot/android. However since this model came with a rig from the website i have deleted the rig so that i have to re-rig it myself to get the end product.
Added The eyes and eyebrow “plates” and ears
Changed the head pieces and made the ears larger and changed the shape
Side on view
Following a tutorial to create a sci-fi themed landscape.
First render using arnold
Added more light to the scene
Put a planet in the background
Mountains added to scene
Combined the mountains and planet in the scene and gave them some colour
Colour variation
Some changes to the color palette looks much better in my opinion.
