Today I learned to do both green screen and rotoscope in After effects which are key tools in producing high quality effects both simple and complex. The rotoscope tool allows for more hands on tweaking and makes it easier to cut out a subject from a complex background as opposed to using a mask however a well lit green screen is less time consuming but needs to be shot in a controlled light environment.
